Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of DissertationHelp.au and any coaching, editing, proofreading or feedback service you book with us. By requesting a quote or making a payment, you agree to these terms. Last updated: 2026.

1. Our service

DissertationHelp.au provides academic coaching, structural and language editing, proofreading, methodology guidance and feedback for Honours, Master's and PhD students. We do not write theses, dissertations or assignments for submission. All feedback, comments and edited materials are provided to help you improve your own work.

2. Academic integrity — you remain the author

You remain the sole author of your thesis at all times. Materials we provide are for learning, guidance and reference only and must not be submitted as your own work. You are responsible for complying with your university's academic integrity policy and any rules about permitted editing assistance (including recognised Australian standards for editing research theses). We may decline work that would amount to ghostwriting or contract cheating.

3. Quotes, bookings and payment

  • Instant estimates from our quote calculator are indicative only; a firm, GST-inclusive quote in Australian dollars is confirmed by email before any work begins.
  • Work starts once the agreed payment (or the first chapter instalment) is received. We accept card, PayPal, PayID and other methods shown at checkout.
  • Turnaround times are agreed in AEST/AEDT and confirmed in writing for each chapter or stage.

4. Revisions

Revisions to the work we reviewed are unlimited for 30 days from delivery, provided the request stays within the original brief. New instructions, additional chapters or a changed scope after delivery may be quoted separately.

5. Refunds

  • Full refund if we miss an agreed deadline or fail to deliver the service you booked.
  • Partial refunds where only part of the agreed scope was delivered.
  • No refund is due where delivered work met the agreed brief; revision requests are covered by clause 4 instead.
  • Refunds are issued in AUD to the original payment method.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Confidentiality

We treat your identity, drafts and communications as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never contact your university or supervisor, and we do not resell or republish your work.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate briefs, to pay agreed fees on time, and not to misuse our platform or materials — including submitting our edited or annotated materials as entirely your own unaided work, reselling them, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Liability

We take care to deliver accurate, examiner-standard feedback, but academic outcomes (grades, examiner reports, candidature decisions) depend on your own work and your university. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-delivering the service or refunding the fee you paid for it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts or tribunals of Victoria, and we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve concerns directly.
